Emily, our second daughter, is in kindergarten. She has been learning to read and write this year. I noticed recently that she spells the word 'use' as 'yoos'. I found it amusing (and adorable so I haven't had the heart to correct her), and gleaned a little bit of spiritual truth from it. We want to be yoos-ed by God. We are so excited to be going to Japan this particular year with this particular team. We have heard of how God has been moving in Japan and we are excited to see it for ourselves and participate in it. One verse that has been speaking to me is from Romans 10.
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"
